Alois is one of the pioneers of sustainable finance in Switzerland with many years of entrepreneurial and private equity experience. As Head of Research at fund manager Sustainable Asset Management SAM (now Robeco), he played a major role in setting up the Dow Jones Sustainability Index. He also served as Senior Advisor to Generation Investment Management, a company co-founded by former U.S. vice-president Al Gore. Alois was also co-founder and Chairman of the Zurich-based financial boutique Forma Futura, and co-founder and President of the Advisory Board to Fision Technologies, which secured an exit to Zalando in 2020. He currently sits on the Advisory Committee of the Center for Sustainable Finance and Private Wealth (CSP) at the University of Zurich and is a Board Member of several companies.
